Cinema : Africa Make-up Week Festival Underway

The second edition of the Africa Make-up Week Festival is scheduled to take place in Yaounde from November 13 – 16, 2019, under the theme: “Road Accident….Brushes to raise awareness”. Organized by the Association of Make-up Artist of Cameroonian Cinema dubbed ASMACC, the theme of this year’s edition was chosen in prelude to the International Day of remembrance of victims of road accidents commemorated on November 18, 2019. This year’s edition is crowned with activities like; conferences, caravans of proximity, training workshops, exhibitions/sales, projections and many more which combine education and entertainment. Participants at the festival will include; invitees, visitors, Make-up artists, experts of road safety from the Ministry of Transport, victims and witnesses of road accidents, teachers of driving schools and other associations that deal with the road. Their presence is imperative during the festival such that, through them, the general public can be sensitized on how to avoid road accidents and what to do if they are victims of any road accident.
