African Competitions : CAF Prepares Scenarios For Competition

The African Football Confederation plans to complete the semi-finals and finals of African club cups 2019-2020 in August or September.

The Confederation of African Football CAF intends to complete the inter-clubs season by all means amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The African Football Confederation (CAF) plans to complete the semi-finals and finals of African club cups (Champions League and Confederation Cup) 2019-2020 in August or September. CAF is also working on different scenarios to finish the 2020-2021 editions on time. 
The first scenario will be to play the semi-finals of the two inter-clubs competitions between July 31 and August 9 (away leg matches between July 31 and August 2 and return leg matches between August 7 and 9). The final of the CAF Confederations Cup will take place on August 23 and the Champions League final will take place on August 28. The second scenario proposes to play the semi-finals and finals of the African Champions League and the CAF Confederations Cup in September. The away leg matches of the two last four will take place on September 4 and 6 and the return leg matches will take place between September 11 and 13.
