The President of the Inter-progress International Foundation, Pierre Zumbach was received by SOPECAM’s Deputy General Manager on June 2, 2021 in Yaounde.
With the postponement again of the 8th edition of the International Exhibition For Enterprises, SME and Partnerships of Yaounde better known as PROMOTE from April 2021 to February 2022, stakeholders are seeking ways to ensure its success. It is against this backdrop that Pierre Zumbach, President of the Inter-progress International Foundation, Government’s representative for the organisation of the event, was at the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM) to fine-tune partnership. He held talks with the Deputy General Manager of SOPECAM, Dr Shey Peter Mabu yesterday June 2, 2021 in Yaounde. The two officials charted ways that will ensure effective communication of the event on a win-win partnership basis.
Talking during the meeting, Pierre Zumback recounted a brief history of the event and raised some hitches faced in recent times the most outstanding being the Covid-19 pandemic. With the pandemic, he said that preparations will unfold progressively from this month right up to September 2021 while hoping that the pandemic no longer poses an obstacle. “Probably in September, the world evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic will be on a crossway.
