Bamenda-Babadjou Road : Circulation Stabilises On Babadjou-Matazem Stretch

West Regional Delegate of Public Works, Etchu Manfred Tabe, gave a press briefing in Bafoussam recently on the progress of work as construction goes on after four months.

The Babadjou-Matazem stretch of the Bamenda-Babadjou Road now under construction is slowly returning to normal, after one of the most trying periods in the history of the construction, which left most Cameroonians worried. The road was almost a nightmare to car users and travelers. According to the Regional Delegate of Public Works for the West region, Etchu Manfred Tabe, who is leading a strong team of engineers to supervise the construction work on the Babadjou-Matazm highway, circulation is gradually getting stable since four months that work started on that stretch of road. He said the situation has become assuage to automobile users as circulation has gradually  become more flexible for drivers plying that road, since BUNS enterprises won the contract for construction work.
Etchu expressed total appreciation that BUNS company is fully implementing the construction work as contained in the administrative procedure documents he signed, adding that the respect of this engagement will help fulfil government’s objective on sustainable development and commitment on various front to meet the aspirations of the population by providing them with public amenities.
