2022 Champions’ Trophy : Remake Of Cup Final

Saturday October 22, 2022 will go down into the history of Cameroonian football as the day when the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) organised its first Champions’ Trophy. Bamboutos of Mbouda and Coton Sport of Garoua, thanks to their performance in the last season will play the inaugural game at the Kouekong stadium in Bafoussam. The game is normally supposed to pit the winner of the Cup of Cameroon and the Elite One champion of 2022. But because Coton Sport of Garoua won all two competitions, Bamboutos of Mbouda was picked as the second opponent after finishing runner up in the Cup of Cameroon. Tomorrow’s game, will thus be a remake of the Cup of Cameroon final. While Coton Sport will be coming to maintain its superiority, Bamboutos will be out to revenge the painful defeat at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium on October 2, 2022. 
Coton Sport is upbeat after picking one of the spots in the group phase of the CAF Champions League. The team, in the second round of preliminaries, just like in the first, proved that it has all what is takes to face any kind of opponent.
