The top favourites will be seeking to take home the sixth title as they begin their campaign today November 24, 2022.
The Seleçao of Brazil will take on Serbia in the second Group G game at the ongoing Qatar World Cup today November 24, 2022 at the Lusail Stadium in Al Daayen at 8:00 p.m. It will be a tough encounter as both teams will be seeking for a victory in order to secure a comfortable spot in the group. Brazil are the top favourites in the competition and all eyes will be on the Seleçao. The Brazilian team is in top form and full of confidence. The dream of the Selecao is to win the sixth trophy and to remain on top of world football. However, they will have to go past a strong Serbian side. The boys of Dragan Stijkpvic are redoubtable and do anything bad to any team with top players like Dusan Vlahovic and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. Even though the Brazilians are sure of their potentials, the head coach, Tite admits that lessons must be learned from recent failures.
The Selecao have won a record five World Cups, though not since 2002 when beating Germany 2-0 in the final have they lifted the most famous trophy of them all. Since then, Brazil have reached the semi-final only once and have suffered three quarter-final exits, including four years ago at the hands of Belgium. Serbia are appearing in the World Cup for the fourth time....
