Tawah Che Crecy : Excelling In Building Material Fabrication

The Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Building Materials (ABM), Tawah Che Crecy is the winner of the second edition of CBT Champions. It is an event organised by the Cameroon News and Publishing Corporation (SOPECAM) to promote “Made-in Cameroon” products. The winner who bags home FCFA five million is the owner of the Bamenda-based small and medium-sized enterprise that supplies locally fabricated building materials at an affordable price. Created in 2009, ABM produces high quality clay cladding tiles and bricks which depict the identity and cultures of Cameroon. Artistic tiles as well as classical tiles produced by the enterprise are registered with the African Intellectual Property Rights Organisation and the SME is 100 per cent made in Cameroon as even the machinery used in fabrication are home made. The institution has 32 staff and fabricates 34 clay products harvested, processed, moulded and dried in some six ovens.
