Presidential Couple Left Yaounde Friday

At the invitation of the President of the United States of America, His Excellency Joe Biden, Cameroon’s Head of State, His Excellency Paul Biya, left Yaounde Friday morning (December 9, 2022), accompanied by First Lady, Mrs Chantal Biya, to attend the Second United States-Africa Leaders Summit to hold in Washington from December 13- 15, 2022.
Before boarding the flight for Washington at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport, the President of the Republic had handshakes with the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, the Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh and the Minister, Director of the Civil Cabinet of the Presidency of the Republic, Samuel Mvondo Ayolo. 
The size and calibre of Cabinet Ministers accompanying the Head of State to the Washington Summit speak volumes of what the country hopes to gain. It is also an illustration of the depth of the bilateral cooperation existing between Cameroon and the United States of America and the fields of the mutually-beneficial ties.
