In group B based in Annaba, the Democratic Republic of Congo drew 0-0 with Uganda and Senegal beat Côte d’Ivoire 1-0. Moussa Ndiaye scored for Senegal at the 77th minute. In group C, Madagascar beat Ghana 2-1 in Constantine. Following the withdrawal of the defending champions Morocco, Sudan got the three points of the day.
