Mountain Biking : Preparations Reach High Gear

The first edition of the mountain biking competition better known in French as VTT will - take place in Bagofit Sun City in the Upper Nyong Division of the East Region on April 29, 2023. Organised by the Cameroon Cycling Federation, the competition will bring together participants from across the country. Ahead of the event, preparations have reached high gear in the country. In this light, a second preparatory meeting took place in the conference room of the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms in Yaounde on April 14, 2023. The meeting came on the heels of another one that took place the day before in the Minister’s cabinet. The meeting brought together officials of the Cameroon Cycling Federation and the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Joseph LE. The purpose of the meeting was to fine-une preparations for the organisation of the first-ever edition of the mountain bike race. During the meeting, members examined several aspects notably the technical aspects of the race, security, lodging, feeding, transportation, communication, animation and protocol among others.
