Bamoun Sultan Visits Douala

The Sultan of Bamoun, His Majesty Nabil Mbombo Njoya, has met with the Bamoun community in Douala. The meeting on July 15 at the Bepanda Reunification Stadium saw the sultan communing with his people. More than a year after his accession to the throne, Nabil Mbombo Njoya’s visit to the Wouri community that began on July 12, ran till the 16. The royal visit came after a European tour. The visit to Douala is part of a national tour initiated for more than a month by the Sultan, to meet his community across the country.
While in Douala on July 15, the Sultan of Bamoun, His Majesty Nabil Mbombo Njoya, called on the Bamoun people to be law-abiding and peace-loving. He asked them not to be involved in criminal activities which tarnish the image of the Bamoun people. He used the opportunity to preach peace and made them understand that the Bamoun people are peaceful, and it should be reflected wherever they find themselves.
