Boxing : Normalisation Committee Members Commissioned

A provisional body will henceforth manage the affairs of the Cameroon Boxing Federation (FECABOXE). The members of the Normalisation Committee created by the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education were commissioned into function yesterday, July 17, 2023. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi called on the newly-appointed members to make use of their expertise in order to take FECABOXE out of the present difficult situation. He reminded them that Boxing, football and athletics are the only disciplines that have enabled Cameroon to win medals at the Olympic Games in the likes of late Joseph Bessala in 1968 in Mexico and Martin Ndongo Ebanga in 1984 in Los Angeles. He said boxing is qualified as a noble art. As such, their actions must help the sports discipline to regain its former nobility through dazzling victories on the international scene.
