Cimfest : Rejuvenating Cameroon Music Industry

Hundreds of economic operators are set to make brisk business during the event that is builled for November in Buea.
Buea from November 22 to 25, 2023 will vibrate to the rich musical heritage of Cameroon at the second edition of the Cameroon International Music Festival (CIMFEST). There are over 800 music enthusiasts around the world enlisted for the event built for Molyko stadium and the Buea Mountain Hotel. Diverse musical genres like Bikutsi, Makossa, Asiko, Afrop pop etc will showcase the spectrum of the rhythms and sound of Cameroon music.
Prince-Michael Enobi, President of CIMFEST, said on September 18, 2023, that the festival stands as a catalysts to rejuvenate the Cameroon music industry. “CIMFEST is more than a festival. It is a conduit for Cameroonians artists to connect with fans, collaborate internationally, unearth hidden talents and promote peace and prosperity through the magic of entertainment and culture,” he explained. An anticipated 10. 000 industry guests, 500 workshop participants and 50 international celebrities will amplify the global arena with businesses. The technological hub, Silicon Mountain, will showcase it savoir-faire in cyber space at the event.
