2023-2024 Guinness Super League : Rendez-vous On October 14

The 2023-2024 edition of the women’s division one championship dubbed the Guinness Super League rumbles off on Saturday October 14, 2023. The calendar of the competition was made public on October 6, 2023 on the official website of the Cameroon Football Federation. The opening game is expected to pit Authentic Fc against reigning champions, Lekie Football Filles. Authentic will no doubt be propelled by the recruitment of Hassan Balla Ibrahim as Head Coach. The trainer who is currently busy with the U-20 women’s national team taking part in the second round qualifiers of the upcoming World Cup of this category, won two Guinness Super League titles with As Awa. Lekie FF, just like last season, has recruited several new players with the intention of keeping the trophy.
The Authentic-Lekie encounter will set the tone of the rest of day-1 clashes amongst which the Centre regional derby between Eding and As Fortuna.  In all, 12 clubs are taking part in the one group competition whose first phase is expected to end on January 6, 2024.
