Shooting Sport : Japan Donates To Cameroon

Ambassador Takaoka Nozomu officially handed shooting clothes to the Cameroon Shooting Federation yesterday November 8, 2023 in Yaounde.
The practice of shooting sports in Cameroon will no longer be the same. This is thanks to five shooting clothes donated by the Japan Rifle Shooting Sport Federation to the Cameroon Shooting Federation. The jackets were officially handed to the federation by the Japanese Ambassador to Cameroon, His Excellency, Takaoka Nozomu. This was during a ceremony organised yesterday November 8, 2023 at the residence of the Japanese Ambassador in Yaounde. The ceremony was graced by several high profile guests including the representative of the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Michel Dissake Mbarga, who is Inspector General in charge of Services at the Ministry.
Speaking during the ceremony, Ambassador Takaoka Nozomu highlighted the rich sporting ties that exist between Cameroon and Japan citing several examples of cooperation amongst which the construction of the Judo Dojo by Japan in Soa. “I am looking forward to seeing the Cameroonian athletes having practiced with these shooting clothes compete for gold medals on the international stage with Japanese athletes in the future,” the Ambassador wished.
