Music : Talent, Culture Glow At Buea Event

Though music, the second edition of Cameroon International Music Festival (CIMFEST), from November 12-18, 2023 presented a market where huge economic exchange took place.
Bikutsi, Makossa, Asiko, Afrop pop, gospel, jam rented the air in Buea on November 16 and 17, 2023. The blend of diverse music emanated from the Molyko Omnisport Stadium where talents were showcased. Also, the sports arena had been transformed into a veritable market of huge economic exchanges. It was the second edition of Cameroon International Music Festival (CIMFEST). The event spanned for one week from November 12-18, 2023. Activities included master classes, workshops, live concerts, vendor exhibitions, hackathons, excursions, network cocktails and symposiums.
On day one of the music show at the Molyko Omnisport Stadium, upcoming and established artists took to the podium and put the city on fire with their repertoire. Mic Monsta, Maxy Manorth, Locko among others were on stage. The second day had Tenor, Krys M, Sandrine Nnanga etc on stage. With their songs, they revived life in the people of Buea and environs who have been traumatized by the socio-political crisis in the North West and South West Regions.
