Cultural Display : Kotto Barombi Sues For Peace

To begin a new page of life, they talked forgiveness of one another on January 27, 2024.
The Buea Town Green Stadium on Saturday, January 27, 2024 was a theatre for cultural display. Kotto Barombi youths danced and venerated their ancestors in songs like “mindussa”, “ngoba” and “ndundu.” In their songs, they appreciated the progressive return to normalcy in their village. The come-together under the auspices of their traditional ruler, His Majesty Nkanle Mboke Godlive Ntua, sought ways to enhance development in Kotto Barombi, preach peace and living together. Kotto Barombi has suffered its own share in the socio-political crisis rocking the North West and South West Regions. But the natives sued for peace and talked forgiveness for one another so as to begin a new page.
They decided that Kotto Barombi will be cleansed for meaningful development to begin. Development levy for all natives and inhabitants of the village was instituted. A five-year developmental plan was scheduled for the village. All the indigenes are to preach the importance of education. As such, the doors of all schools in the village will open for 2024/2025 academic year. The population were encouraged to enlist on the electoral register among others.
