Chantal Biya Mountain Bike Race : Preparations Hot Up

The Chantal Biya Mountain Bike Race known by the French acronym as “Course VTT Chantal BIYA” will take place on March 30, 2024 in Bagofit Sun City. Ahead of the competition, preparations are underway in the country. Organisers are leaving no stone unturned in order to ensure a hitch-free event. The fourth preparatory meeting took place in the conference room of the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reforms Yaounde on Tuesday February 13, 2024. The meeting was co-chaired by the Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Joseph LE, promoter of the event and the President of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Honoré Yossi. One of the major decisions of the meeting was the inclusion of athletes from the armed forces and police forces.  
Speaking at the opening, Minister Joseph LE said the implication of the First Lady obliges the organisers to ensure a perfect organisation. He said the organisers must work hard in order to ensure the best organisation on the one hand and through a job well done come out with a beautiful event that will attract sponsors, investors and helpers who are capable of supporting the organisation of future editions.
