MTN Elite Playoffs : Movement On Technical Benches

Some coaches have parted ways with their respective football outfits for diverse reasons.

A wave of resignations and changes on the technical bench has hit the MTN Elite Playoffs.  Soh Magloire Simplis, the mastermind behind Panthère Sportive's impressive return to the top flight, has reportedly stepped down after guiding the club to a dominant 7-0 win over Dragon de Yaounde in the promotion playoffs. Simplis' decision comes shortly after a triumphant season and evidently a job well done. 
Bafmeng United FC also acknowledged receipt of the resignation of its head trainer, Martin Nkabyo in a letter dated April 7, 2024. The club expressed gratitude for Nkabyo's contributions and named assistant goalkeeper coach Taku John Mbi as interim coach while the search for a permanent replacement is underway.
The situation at Dynamo Douala is less amicable. Yves Clément Arroga, who led the team to a first-place finish in the regular season, resigned in the course of the playoffs due to what he described as administrative amateurism. The club acknowledged having stumbled on his resignation letter but described the words of the trainer as derogatory.
