West : Bursars Upgrade Skill in Revenue Collection

A two-day inter-regional seminar aimed at upgrading the management skills of financial clerks and bursars deplored from the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of Public Health ended in Bafoussam on 16, May, 2024. Organized jointly by the Ministries of Finance and Public Health, and coordinated by Ngahzi Gaspa, head of mission from the Ministry of finance, the workshop grouped bursars and financial clerks from the Ministry of Public Health from the Northwest and West regions.
Addressing participants at both opening and closing ceremonies Chief of division in charge of police and administrative organization in the West Governor’s office, Gregoire Gatsing, called on the bursars and financial clerks in public hospital and other health facilities, to first consider the good intention and aspects of health care services and then manage the financial resources placed at their disposal with all stringencies.  He reminded the participants that the workshop is to enable the government through them put in place a sustainable system that will contribute to the wellbeing of the public users, who are beneficiaries of the public health facilities.
Gatsing called on the participants to put into proper practice what they acquired during the two-day training, so that it will increase trust on government efforts to promote local economy and social wellbeing of the population.
