Excellence : Douala General Hospital Wins Award

The Douala General Hospital has won the Best Hospital Award. The award was presented to the hospital authorities on Friday during the Douala Ports Authority Award 2024, a ceremony organised every year by the Douala Port Authority for all its partners. The Deputy Director General of the Douala General Hospital, Prof. Kedy Mangamba, received the award on behalf of the hospital. In accepting the award, she thanked the PAD for recognising their efforts and added that it would also act as an incentive for further work.
Receiving the award at the hospital on Monday, November 4, the Director General of the Douala General Hospital, Prof. Henry Namme Luma, used the opportunity to thank the Douala Port Authority for recognising the efforts made on a daily basis by all staff to meet the expectations of the patients they receive every day.
