International Bonds : BGFI Supports Investments

The BGFIBank Douala has been inaugurated with the revelation of how the bank has supported investment projects in Cameroon. The inauguration, which took place on Friday 6 December, was presided over by the Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic and Personal Representative of the Head of State, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh. It was noted that BGFIBank is one of the main sponsors of investment projects during the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, notably the construction of the Japoma stadium in Douala and the construction of the Olembe stadium in Yaounde.
In his welcome address, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of BGFIBank Cameroon, Gabon-born Henri-Claude Oyima, said the new building reflectes the bank's confidence in Cameroon and its commitment to long-term success. He underlined the bank's aim to become one of the top two banks in Cameroon, focusing on large private and public financing projects. He noted that the Bank had contributed FCFA 26 million to the construction of the Japoma Stadium and had also contributed to many other investment projects in Cameroon.
The Minister of State, Secretary General to the Presidency of the Republic, Ferdinand Ngoh Ngoh, who presided over the inauguration ceremony on Friday 6 December, congratulated BGFIBank on the beautiful building. He acknowledged that since the bank came to Cameroon in 2011, it has contributed to the financing of development projects in Cameroon. He added that the bank has contributed FCFA 40 billion to accelerate economic growth in Cameroon and has provided financial support that has also developed other parts of Cameroon.
