UNIFFAC 2025: Competition Kicks Off February 11

The Central African Republic, Congo, DR Congo, Gabon and Cameroon are the five countries that will participate in the competition in Douala.

The 2025 edition of the UNIFFAC U-17 tournament will kick off in Douala on February 11, 2025. For this year’s edition, five countries from the Central African Sub region will take part in the competition. They are the Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon and host, Cameroon. Sources from UNIFFAC say all the participating countries have confirmed their presence in the competition pending MRI testing formalities. With the return of Gabon and the DR Congo that missed the previous edition, the competition promises to be tough. Sources say the competition will begin with MRI testing from February 11 to 15, 2025 at the Laquintini Hospital in Douala. According to our source, only players born between December 31, 2010 and January 1, 2008 who receive Magnetic Resonance Information clearance will be eligible to participate. The competition proper will start on February 16, 2025 with Cameroon taking on the DR Congo and Congo Republic will play against the Central African Republic at the Reunification Stadium in Bepanda.
