U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers: Lionesses Return To Camp

The U17 Lionesses of Cameroon have returned to camp to begin preparations ahead of the second round qualifiers for the tenth edition of the FIFA World Cup in that category in Morocco from October 17 to November 8, 2025. The training session began on February 13, 2025 at the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo near Yaounde and will run till February 20, 2025. In this light, the head coach, Joseph Brian Ndoko has published the list of 30 players for the training. On his list are new comers like Sah Ndawoa of Beembal FC and Tchewa Manuela of Ita Mbong FC. Training takes place daily in the playground of the CAF Excellence Centre in Mbankomo. During their training, the players are expected to play friendly matches with some teams in the local championship. The coach emphasized that the importance of the camp is to evaluate the performance of the players after the last matches against Egypt and equally to integrate new talents. He explained that even though old players have an advantage, the new ones with adequate follow up, can bring an added advantage to the team because of their potentials.
