Guinness Super League : FC Ebolowa Deepens Lead

Thanks to their victory over Cyclone on Matchday 13 over the weekend, the club moved to 37 points, five above direct followers Lékie, that were held to a draw by Amazone Fap.

FC Ebolowa have solidified its position at the top of the Guinness Super League, extending their lead to a comfortable five points difference after a decisive 4-0 victory over Cyclone on Matchday 13. The dominant performance propelled the defending champions to 37 points, while their closest rivals, Lekie FF, were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Amazone FAP. The results mark a significant shift in the league standings, with FC Ebolowa capitalizing on Lekie FF’s slip-up to widen the gap. The Ebolowa side demonstrated their attacking prowess, showcasing the form that has seen them maintain an unbeaten run this far. Lekie FF, now sitting on 32 points, will be left to regret missed opportunities as they failed to break down a resolute Amazone FAP defense. The draw, while securing a point for Amazone FAP, that now hold third place with 27 points, significantly benefited FC Ebolowa’s title aspirations. Despite the growing lead, FC Ebolowa remains cautious, acknowledging the remaining fixtures and Lekie FF’s potential to close the gap.  Meanwhile, Louves Minproff maintained their fourth position with a 2-0 victory over AS Awa.
