Buea : Moslem Community Pray For Peace

The Buea Islamic Central Mosques complex on Saturday, March 22, 2025, steamed with series of prayers soliciting on Allah to grant Cameroon sustained peace. The Moslems had just broken their evening fast at 6:45 pm in the ongoing Ramadan fast before engaging in supplications for the nation for close to three hours. Present were all the Imams of the different Mosques in Buea Sub-division who took to the lectern and offered prayers. 
His Eminence, Alhadji Mohammed Aboubakar, Chief Imam of the Buea Islamic Central Mosque Complex, said it is very important for them to come together for the last phase in the month of Ramadan, last 10 days. That, there is need to remind themselves and especially Imams of the various mosques in Buea Subdivision on the importance of peace. “The price for peace has to do with tolerance and perseverance, love, sharing, and giving to the poor,” he pointed out. The faithful then embarked on a series of prayers on sustain peace on themselves, in their mosques, South West Region, Cameroon and the world citing the Gaza war. “We beg Allah to send stability in our various towns and all over the world,” he prayed.
