U17 AFCON : Fans Rally Behind Cadet Lions

Cameroonians in Casablanca and elsewhere are bent on cheering their team to victory as the team takes on South Africa in the second match in Group B today April 3, 2025.

Cameroonians living in Casablanca are mobilizsed as one behind the U17 Lions ahead of their second match against the Amajimbos of South Africa today April 3, 2025 in the ongoing U17 AFCON in Morocco. After the cadet Lions 1-2 defeat against Burkina Faso on Monday March 31, 2025, Cameroonians in Casablanca and elsewhere are bent on cheering their darling team to victory. 
Since the first playing day, the talk among all Cameroonians here is on how to give their support to the Lions. The Cameroonian community in Casablanca is calling on compatriots to take the rendez-vous at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium to encourage the cadet Lions. Like it was on the first day, the fans will be transported to the stadium to and fro by a bus hired for the purpose by the Cameroon Embassy in Rabat. 
The President of the Cameroonian Community in Casablanca, Soclien Webo Yannick said Cameroonian supporters in Casablanca are preparing hard to support the U17 Lions during their second match today in the group. He explained that messages were being sent through Whatsapp to the different groups in Casablanca and sub-groups so that people can come out massively to the stadium. “We are doing it with our own means. For us, it is patriotism. Cameroon is our country”, he said. He added that he will continue to send information as much as possible so that Cameroonians come and support the cadet Lions in the second match which will give them the mental strength to win and also hopes to qualify for the second round and especially for the World Cup.
