Transportation : No Reason To Fear

There is no reason to fear when it concerns the transportation of goods and persons within the towns of Limbe and Buea. Taxi fares are moderate and could be debated by passengers especially on short distances. Boarding a taxi from Mile 17 Bus Station Buea to the Molyko Omnisports stadium, for instance, costs FCFA 150. From Mile 17 to Buea Town costs FCFA 300 meanwhile, from Mile 17 to other parts within town is FCFA 250. 
Driving from Mile 4 to Down Beach in Limbe is FCFA 250. From Half Mile to Limbe Omnisport Stadium is FCFA 500. Taxi drivers and the vehicles in these two towns are noted for cleanliness. Any forgotten luggage will be collected at the transport unions’ offices.
In effect, from land, sea and air, all routes will lead to the Limbe Buea site. The location of Limbe on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean makes it possible for neigbouring countries like Equatorial Guinea, and other West African countries like Nigeria and Ghana to access Limbe by sea. In the same vein, the airstrip in Tiko offers another possibility by air to access the Limbe/Buea site. The Tiko airstrip was used by Cameroon’s Head of State and President of the Republic, Paul Biya, as he came to chair the 2014 national event of 50th Anniversaries celebration of Cameroon’s reunification in Buea. And normally by land it is worth mentioning that Fako Division with Limbe as headquarters uniquely enjoys a network of asphalted roads leading to all its seven administrative Subdivisions of Muyuka, Buea, Tiko, Idenau, Limbe One, Limbe Two and Limbe Three.
