Douala : Girls Exhibit Art Works

Art works by young girls have been presented to the public in the banquet hall of the Governor’s Office in Douala’s administrative quarters Bonanjo on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Their works ranged from sculpture through fine arts such as tapestry, basketry and wood engraving and came as fruit of three weeks training of the girls by three associations. The associations which include Artisan au Feminin, Innovtempo and Ligne Moderne fights against dependence of women, poverty through impartation of artistic skills for the generation of income.
During the opening of the exhibition, the Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Dieudonne Ivaha Diboua, encouraged the girls never to relent. He thanked the associations for their task of getting...
