Mutengene : Institutions Get Hand Sanitizers

A movement called “I Am Cameroon” effected the donation which they hope will bring to an end the pandemic.

A civic responsible movement called “I Am Cameroon” has embarked on a mission to eradicate the prevalence of Coronavirus pandemic. On Saturday March 26, 2022, it donated 52,000 liters of Sarayan Hand Sanitizer to the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health Services in Mutengene. This was phase two of the “I Am Cameroon” COVID-19 response coming after it made similar donation last year.
Paul Ngang, CBC Central Pharmacy Administrator, who received 60% of the donation was very thankful to the I Am Cameroon movement. He said the supplies have come at the right time as the South West Region has been hit by a cholera outbreak which is claiming lives. That the hand gels will go a long way to curb the spread of this deadly cholera epidemic that is taking away lives of Cameroonians. The hand sanitizers whose main goal is to eradicate COVID-19 will be put in full use, he assured.
