Ramadan in Edea : Minister Ngalle Bibehe Encourages Muslims

Among the numerous foodstuff contribution to praying Muslims was the promise of a borehole to be constructed in Edea in the nearest future.
Muslims in Edea have received a contribution of foodstuffs from Minister of Transport, Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe on behalf of the association he promotes, Fondation La Main Tendue.The Minister led a delegation that comprised the SDO of Sanaga Maritime, the President of the Littoral Regional Council as well as religious and traditional authorities and members of Fondation La Main Tendue who were received by an enthusiastic crowd of followers of Muhammad at the ceremonial ground in Edea on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
Immediately after his arrival, leaders of the Muslim community both from the Grand North and Edea placed on him their traditional regalia in honour and recognition of his services to the community in general and Muslims in particular to crown the event. The visibly elated Minister could not take his seat until he expressed gratitude to them for the wonderful and surprise gesture. During the symbolic handing over of the contribution by the Minister, each of the beneficiary Muslim families bagged a package of rice, cooking oil, sugar, spaghetti, flour, milk, beans, sachets of tomato, salt, onion, mineral water, dates from Saudi Arabia, loins and sweet drinks. The contribution according to Aminatou Inoia Bako, Queen Mother of the Muslim community in Edea, expressed gratitude, saying it was a timely and highly needed contribution to their families involved in the on-going Ramadan.
