On the eve of the encounters the team is making final preparations in order to ensure the best result.
The U17 Lionesses of Cameroon will confront the Junior She-polopo of Zambia tomorrow April 30, 2022 at the Yaounde Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium. The match will be the return leg of the third round qualifier for the 2022 FIFA World Cup that will take place in India. From all indications, the encounter will produce a lot of fireworks as each side will be out for a victory. On the eve of the encounter the team is making final preparations in order to ensure the best result tomorrow. The encounter, is a decisive one for the Lionesses as they need to secure a ticket for the next round. For close to two weeks, the Lionesses have been training intensively at the Sports Complex of the Presidential Guard in Obili, Yaounde.
Sources close to the team say all the 25 players in camp are in good health. As part of the preparations, the U17 Lionesses also played friendly matches with some clubs in the national championship to keep them abreast with the competition. During the away leg in Lusaka, the U17 Lionesses beat the She-polopolo 2-0. The Lionesses need a victory or a draw to qualify for the third round of the qualifiers.
