North West : Royal Blessings For Patrimonial Actions

Initiatives to help fast- tract the development of Awing Fondom, Santa Sub division preoccupies the new team elected to chart the way forward, led by Christian Tanyi. His team or better still, executive members received the blessings of His Majesty, Fon Fozo II of Awing on August 24, 2022. The event at the Awing Palace Plaza was summed up in traditional rituals with camwood applied in the forehead of team members with encouragements to rise to expectation in their initiatives and crusade for peace, unity of action and development. His Majesty, Fozo II reminded the new team of their front role as hunters for the Commonwealth of the fondom. The Royal blessings found favour with the new executive members among who are, the Chairman of the organisation of the Fon's imminent Silver jubilee, Prof. Samuel Atechi, NACDA Board Chairman, Philip Penanje, National Women’s wing leader, Tantoh Justine Halle, Youth wing leader, Terence Chefor etc. The team was officially commissioned and charged to deliver as pathfinders for the emergence of Awing village. The Fon stressed the need for the leadership to inspire and build unity amongst Awing sons and daughters by checking internal conflicts as the gateway to achieve.
The new National Executive of the Ndong Awing Cultural and Development Association (NACDA), was voted during their mid-year general Assembly on July 22, 2022 in Kribi, South region. It is against this backdrop that they retired back home to receive Royal blessings in the land of their ancestors before working to feature Awing as the standard bearer for self-reliance development.
