UNIFFAC : Cameroonian Teams Know Oppenents

Cameroonian teams involved in the UNIFFAC zonal tournaments for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers now know their opponents. The zonal tournaments will serve as qualifiers for the U17 and U20 AFCON tournaments. The draw of the Central African Football Federations’ Union tournaments took place in Egypt on November 8, 2022. 
The U17 Lions of Cameroon have been paired in Group A along with neighbours Chad, Congo, DR Congo and Central African Republic to secure a ticket for the tournament to take place in Algeria next year. On their part, the U20 Lions have been place in Group B in their own 2023 AFCON with Chad and Equatorial Guinea. The U20 zonal tournament will take place in Brazzaville, Congo from December 7 to 18, 2022. The competition will bring together seven countries divided into two groups. The teams in group A are DR Congo, Central African Republic and Sao Tome and Principe. The first two teams of each of the two groups will qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations that will take place from February 19 to March 11, 2023 in Egypt.
