Basketball Cup of Cameroon : Finalists Known

BEAC Basketball Club of Yoaunde, AS Bonaberi, (men) and the University of Douala and Onyx Yaounde (women) are the four teams that will play the finals of the 2023 edition of the basketball Cup of Cameroon competition. This is the outcome of the semi-final matches that took place last weekend in Douala and Yaounde. Organised by the Cameroon Basketball Federation, the competition brought together the best teams in the national championship. The competition unfolded in the men’s and women’s categories. It was an opportunity for the players to showcase their skills and also for the technical bench to detect new talents. It was rather stiff competition as each side was desperately seeking for a spot in the final.  
In the men’s final, BEAC Yaounde beat Onyx Yaounde 72-48 in a tough encounter at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex on Saturday June 3, 2023. In the second semi-final match, AS Bonaberi beat Douala Fire Birds 114-71 at the Gymnasium of College de la Salle in Douala. In the women’s competition, University of Doula Basketball Club beat AS Keep Basketball Club of Yaounde 61-49. In the second game, Ecole de Basket of Douala beat Onyx Basketball Club of Yaounde 46:69.
