Martial Wouang : Fast Shooting Boxer

Wouang Martial is a talented boxer. His height 1m45 may not inspire many but he is a boxer with exceptional qualities. He is the first pigmy boxer the country has ever had. He was a major attraction during the African Boxing Championship that took place at the Yaounde Multipurpose Sports Complex with his well calculated punches. In spite of his height, he created panic for his opponents each time he is in the boxing arena. He was not intimidated with his height or with the size of his body. All he wanted was to win the gold medal. During the just-ended African Boxing championship in Yaounde, he was among the top boxers in the competition. 
Unlike in last year's edition, Martial Wouang failed to win the gold medal in the 48kg Minimum division. He lost the fight to Lusizi Lubabalo from South Africa.
