South West : OPOPO Presents Trophy to Governor

As MTN Elite One champion of Cameroon in the just ended season, the Limbe-based football club, Victoria United also known as OPOPO has brought home their trophy and presented to the chief executive of the South West Regional Governor, Bernard Okalia Bilai last 24 April, 2024.
The OPOPO president, Nkwain Valentine, led his boys amid fanfare to the Governor’s Office Premises, in the afternoon of Wednesday into a waiting crowd that thronged the place to catch a glimpse. The Governor, flanked by top authorities of the Region, was visibly elated on the sight of the trophy. When they settled down to speeches, Governor Okalia donated an undisclosed amount in envelope to the team as a token of boost. He praised the OPOPO team for bringing sports grandeur to the Region and urged them to continue harder as they are bound to face tougher challenges ahead in the coming international competitions.
