Bodybuilding and Fitness : Two Athletes Rewarded

The event was a ceremony to hand over two vehicles to the best two athletes in the sports discipline last year took place in Yaounde on August 27, 2024.

It was an exceptional day at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education on Tuesday, August 28, 2024 in Yaounde. The event was a ceremony to hand over two vehicles to the best two athletes in the sports discipline last year and equally to bid farewell to ten athletes  who will represent the country in the Asia Pacific Body building Championships in Manila, Philippines that will take place from September 1 to 3, 2024. 
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi called on bodybuilders to defend Cameroon and Africa in the championships with pride. The Minister called on the athletes to continue working hard and equally hailed the officials of the Cameroon Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation for their efforts in the development of the sports discipline in the country.  The President of the Cameroon Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Achilles Balemagna, called on the athletes to defend the colours of the country honourably and lift the flag of Cameroon high in Manila. Achille Balemagna said the two cars handed over to Christian Nsanga World Champion in the Medium category and Anoho Kelvin Alexandre in the Extreme category who won gold in the Bodybuilding Championships in Curitibal, Brazil, is to encourage other athletes to give their best in the upcoming championships.
