VTT Chantal Biya : Nicolas Philippon’s Satisfaction

The Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms, Promoter of the Chantal Biya Mountain Bike Race, Joseph LE, granted audience to French born Nicolas Philippon, operator of the Photo-Finish during the second edition of the Chantal Biya Mountain Bike Race that took place in Bagofit Sun City in the East Region last weekend. Nicolas Philippon was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Cameroon Cycling Federation, Louis Bruno Eloumou as well as some members of the Technical Organising Committee of the second edition of the Chantal Biya national mountain bike race. 
Speaking to journalists Nicolas Philippon said he was delighted with the quality of the organisation of the competition by the Cameroon Cycling Federation in partnership with the Bagofit Sun City Complex. He said the Minister asked him to come for the second edition that took place over the weekend with regard to his decision to upgrade the race from the national to international level. He said he told the Minister that the competition had the capacity to move to the level of the International Cyclist Union (UCI). In addition, the Photo-Finish operator proposed to the event promoter to organise the African Mountain Bike Race Championships on the cycle track of the Bagofit Sun City Complex in 2026 in the Upper Nyong Division of the Eastern Region.
