Guinness Super League : Amazone FAP, Caïman Filles Share Spoils

Amazone FAP of Yaounde and Caïman Filles of Douala shared spoils during a day seven match that took place at the Yoaunde Omnisports Stadium 1 on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Many supporters from Yaounde and elsewhere thronged the stadium to encourage the teams. It was a thrilling encounter that kept the fans in suspense as they waited anxiously for victory.
Amazone FAP began the game well and with a good play style but lost their scoring opportunities. Caïman Filles equally played well putting up much pressure upfront but they also lost their chances. The two sides put up remarkable performances but they were unable to find the back of the net. Both sides separated at half time on a 0-0 score margin.
On resumption, Amazone FAP came up stronger putting pressure on Caïman Filles but they faced strong resistance from the visitors. Caïman Filles held on with a strong defence wall. The team from Douala had some good opportunities but most of their shots were off target.  Amazone FAP equally had some good chances but failed to concretise them. Despite changes made by the coaches to bring in fresh blood into the game, the score line remained the same. All efforts by both sides to score were in vain. At stoppage time, the scoreboard read 0-0. From the result, Amazone FAP occupies the third position on the league table with 13 points while Caïman Filles are fourth with 11 points.
