“I Have Positively Impacted 22,000 Women”

Martha Monono Kombe, President of First Ladies International Network.

Why did you create the First Ladies International Network?
Martha Monono is a wife, mother, entrepreneur and a coach. Beyond my role as entrepreneur, I committed my life to Christ over 26 years ago and has since been passionate about empowering young women. This passion led me to establish the First Ladies International Network (FLIN) in October 2014. Additionally, my love for culinary arts inspired me to create Lady M Catering Services, a business that has flourished for over 11 years. FLIN has a deep-seated desire to empower young ladies and women, focusing on their spiritual, personal, and professional development. The network aims to raise holistic women with replicable core value systems, enabling them to become change agents from their homes to the broader society.

How impactful is the network to women?
Since its inception, FLIN has positively impacted over 22,000 women in Cameroon and abroad. The network's mission to combat poverty and raise holistic women. It has led to significant transformations in the lives of its members, both locally and internationally. The network has been recognized for its outstanding humanitarian works, addressing the needs of the underprivileged and promoting women's empowerment. Starting in Cameroon, FLIN has expanded to over ten countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, and America, boasting more than 10,000 physical and online members. FLIN has also organized workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions on building homes, counselling for singles, and providing grants to the needy, including orphans and widows.
