
27-year-old Godson Muluh was installed during a ceremony presided over by the Minister of Secondary Education, Prof Pauline Nalova Lyonga, on Friday March 7, 2025, in Yaounde.
Friends and family gathered at the Distance Learning Centre of the Ministry of Secondary Education in Yaounde, to witness the installation ceremony of Cameroon’s newest National Pedagogic Inspector for Computer Science. Godson Muluh began his journey of transforming the education sector in 2022, while in service at Government Bilingual High School Mudeka in Tiko, South West region of Cameroon, where he taught Computer Science. He developed a crowdfunding application, “Miya”, through which he was able to raise vital funds to refurbish the School’s Computer Lab. Thanks to his initiative, GBHS Mudeka now has close to 30 computers. In December 2024, the tech developer from Mezam Division of the North West region was the only African to emerge as winner in one of the nine categories of the Google 2024 Gemini AI Award. His application, “Trippy” won in the “Best use of Firebase” category.
Minister Pauline Nalova Lyonga described him as an assiduous, honest and humble Cameroonian, who has done his country a great deal even before his appointment, “we have intentionally hired someone in Artificial Intelligence so we can be able to level up our use of technology with the rest of the world,” she said.
