Sustainable Development : Cameroon, AfDB Examine Strategic Initiatives

Prime Minister Head of Government? Joseph Dion Ngute, yesterday held discussions with the Acting Director General of the African Development Bank for Central Africa, Solomane Kone.

The African Development Bank has a ten-year strategy that seeks to promote a more integrated, prosperous and resilient continent. With Cameroon being a strategic partner of the financial institution, there are thus development projects financed by the institution. It is thus against the backdrop of enhancing sustainable transformation that the Prime Minister Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute, received the Acting Director General of the African Development Bank for Central Africa, Solomane Kone, on March 19, 2025. 
Discussions between the two officials focused on the global transformation of the lives of the population by improving the energy, agriculture and transport sectors. “The objective of the meeting with the Prime Minister was to go through the strategic imitative we are working on and the one we have in perspective, with a view to be at the same wave length with authorities. And also to highlight the strategic shift the bank has taken in the context of its ten-year strategy (2024-2033) to really have a prosperous, reintegrated, inclusive and resilient Africa. And in this context, we are really promoting a transformative project,” Solomane Kone stated.
