Business People Updated on Cloud Advantages

Gone are days when African companies would use data centers found in other continents to store information, which sometimes raised many unanswered questions about access and security. In view of valorising the advantages of the panafrican data center based in Douala, ST Digital updated business people from five African countries on what cloud computing is all about, the benefits of an African data center, security and accessibility of its services.

They were told to take advantage of the benefits of using cloud computing, which include, flexibility, cost efficiency, business continuity, automatic software updates, scalability and performance, and improved collaboration, among others during a seminar that took place at the headquarters of the business guild, Gicam, in Douala on December 23, 2021, attended on-site and online by IT managers, staff of public and private companies in Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Congo, Gabon and Cameroon.
